Kamloops Ribfest is a community BBQ festival featuring champion ribbers, live entertainment, and family activities at Riverside Park.
Over one summer weekend, Ribfest brings together local organizations, small businesses, volunteers, and visitors in one shared celebration. While guests enjoy great food and live programming, the event also helps generate meaningful community impact through sport-focused reinvestment.
Event proceeds stay in the local community and support sport-focused initiatives and organizations in Kamloops, including KidSport Kamloops and other community-based programs.
Funding priorities and supported organizations can change from year to year based on community needs, available partnerships, and event results.
